God I love Vegas. So when I read the summary, I knew I`d like this one. And I was right! Great characters. Good story. :)

This is an amazingly well-written story! I really enjoyed it! It would probably take too long to explain what about it I enjoyed, exactly, but I'm just going to go with: you wrote amazing descriptions, had knowledge about everything you wrote about, and it had an awesome plot!

Splendid work, keep it up.

Heh, I read this out of near despiration to find something I hadn't already read... and I'm amazed... you sure fit the bill...

wow, incredible. I love all the detail, and the explanations in the cards. I wish I had the ability to do that. You must have done quite a bit of research for this piece, or taken from experience. Have you ever been to Vegas, or lived there? Either way, excellent work, expertly executed. Great job!

I have been to Vegas a few times and always enjoy it. Also been inspired by the wonderful books of Tim Powers ("Last Call"). For the cards, well, there is the Internet. :)

Thanks for the kind words, glad you enjoyed it!

All I can say in finishing this story is "Wow". Yet again you have managed to leave me staring at the last line, running through the events in the story through my head. A very incredible read, I'm impressed as always. I've loads of praise and commentary, but I'll stow it for now, cause I'm quite eager to move on to the next story. Gettin' that post-read withdrawal already x3

Hmm... Did you come up with the cards meaning stuff? If ya did that was amazing, if not I would love to know where you found it. Over all this was a wonderful story, I really must read more of your stuff, for you have a knack at keeping me at the edge of my seat and hanging on to every word as if it would save my life, you are a fantastic writer.

There are a couple places on the 'net where you can find playing card meanings in fortune telling layouts, and I kind of melded from a couple of them to create my own. Google will help you find things. Glad you enjoyed the story, and hope you enjoy the rest of the stuff! :)

With help, I've found this again. Holy cow. It's been a while and this was one of the first stellar examples of furry, free-form fiction that I'd found. Thank you very much for writing this.

Edit: I'm very interested in anything further (or prior) that you may have that feature either Sean or Jack.

For the last two years, I've written early chapters of Sean's life in the Furry Fiesta conbook. Those stories aren't available anywhere else, but I do intend to continue writing about Sean as long as they'll take conbook stories from me. :)

There's a sequel, half-started, that doesn't have enough momentum on its own right now.

That's unfortunate, as I don't think I'll ever be able to get my hooves on a conbook. *shrug* Oh well. That's good to know though.

You'd be surprised. I bet if you put a request out on some furry forums, you'd get some offers. Most people probably just take their conbooks home and toss 'em in a closet. And the cons might have leftovers as well. I dunno, I've never really tried, but I find it hard to believe that hundreds of conbooks would all disappear into closely guarded collections. :)
