Hey there all my fellow fur's, fans of Pokemon and the anthropomorphic arts *bows low, smiling* Welcome, welcome to my profile page, as humble as it is ^.^
For those of you that are here for RP info, just hop on down to the bottom of my page ^.^
Now, as for me, I live in upstate/central New York, a very rural area. Not as bad as a Midwest state, but still, very isolated. As in, the closest person my age is 3 miles away. That's what I mean >.>
I love history, particularly history before 1960. That being said, I am getting into some of the more modern problems and such.
Politically, I am always interested in politics, what happens in D.C. can alter the fate of the world, even or perhaps especially now.
Although I will likely not join the military myself, I will always support those who fight on my behalf, and on the behalf of those who dis them. But, recent troubles with the economy as they are, I can see myself joining the Army one day.
"If you can read this, thank a teacher. If you are reading this in English, thank a soldier."
I also strongly believe in individual rights, and that all people are equal.
"I do not like what you have to say, but I will defend, to the death, your right to say it." - Voltaire
"When the people give up freedom for security, they will get, nor deserve, either." - Benjamin Franklin
"There are no dangerous weapons. There are only dangerous men." - Robert A. Heinlein
"I shall not hide, and I will not stay down. I will stand, and I will do what I believe is right, no matter what stands against me. I will not falter, and I will hold my ground, knowing and learning for when to give way, and when to stand firm.
This is what I promise to those that have gained me as a friend. I will be there for you, and I will not give in, even when you have given up on yourself. If you have gained me as someone that believes in you, know that you can always lean on me, and though I might say things that you don't agree with, don't like, even out and out hate, it will be the truth, as much as I can give it.
Always smile, but never fear to let it fade. A false smile is worse than a snarl of hatred. Believe in heaven, but never forget the moment. Look to the future always, and you forget the now; look to the past all the time, and you forget the future. Look to the now, with an eye to the future, and an ear to the past. Learn from mistakes, and grow from them.
What is right and what is wrong, only we can decide for ourselves." -my own words,
When a song comes on a radio station that you know - it's the best feeling. Out of the blue comes something wonderful and exciting. And when you listen to it, the sound... *murrs* ... the sound is so much sweeter. I will listen to songs on the radio that i wouldn't listen to in YEARS on itunes - just because it's so much fun. I couldn't miss that opportunity to listen to that song, because i don't know when it will ever come on again. It might NEVER come again... Savour that moment. Life is random - and that's what makes it beautiful." - Terraphage,
"Blood is a fluid that's salty and red, and we lose it as we die, love is a bond that ties anyone together" - Forrest,
"Love is a struggle. It will take effort to make it succeed. If it's easy and simple, then you're likely doing something wrong" - Shane,
I would like to believe that I am open-minded when it comes to others view, religious and otherwise. I have to be right, after all I am on a furry site ^.^
On that same note, I am a very good listener, so don't be afraid if you just need someone to vent to, or need some advice.
I am very quite, and even though I am a very good speaker I do not like being the center of attention.
True, many of my fav's have hot scenes in them. In reality though, my true favorites are the long plot-driven stories. One series, if you're into dragons, a good read, fighting, and politics is "The Age of Fire" by E.E. Knight. I think most bookstores should have it.
I'll be writing several types of stories: furry, Pokemon, anthro and feral. Love, ation, suspense, intrigue, romance, thriller. I don't limit myself to one kind of writing. I write what I want to write.
One day, I might be in the mood for romance, and will work on a story like that. Another, I might want action. Another, I might want that sense of betrayal. What does this mean for you, the reader? That my stories have no time limit. I could go months without an upload, although I'll try and keep you up in journals. Or... I might post a 4000-word-plus story everyday for a week ^.^
Luckily, inspiration is coming to me again, after almost three months of silence. Stories should start to come back again, but, as I said, no promises.
Before I forget, shoutout to AnarchyWolf, Ausfer, LucarioFan692, Xianyu, justanotherstranger, ysrnty, and Nehzir here on SoFurry for getting me into writing.
With an honorable mention to other writers that I have faved or watched.
*hugs* to foxohki for his words of encouragement, and helping me believe in myself.
*chokehold hug* to Salavv Onitrex for just being an awesome friend and bud ^.^
One last thing, with all the stories I have read, I can tell from the comments that the authors love getting comments on how their writing can be improved and general feed-back on the story. Don't forget to comment and vote on the stories/journals/pictures, both here on SoFurry, and on other sites.
And I'll say it again, if anyone wants to talk, chat, have a good laugh or conversation, don't be shy to send me a PM ^.^
"Nobody tells this to people who are beginners, I wish someone told me. All of us who do creative work, we get into it because we have good taste. But there is this gap. For the first couple years you make stuff, it's just not that good. It's trying to be good, it has potential, but it's not. But your taste, the thing that got you into the game, is still killer. And your taste is why your work disappoints you. A lot of people never get past this phase, they quit. Most people I know who do interesting, creative work went through years of this. We know our work doesn't have this special thing that we want it to have. We all go through this. And if you are just starting out or you are still in this phase, you gotta know its normal and the most important thing you can do is do a lot of work. Put yourself on a deadline so that every week you will finish one story. It is only by going through a volume of work that you will close that gap, and your work will be as good as your ambitions. And I took longer to figure out how to do this than anyone I've ever met. It's gonna take awhile. It's normal to take awhile. You've just gotta fight your way through."
Quoted from: Ira Glass,
Thanks to Nachtfangen for posting this in his journal.
Hey there, welcome to my fursona. I guess you want me to tell you a bit about him, right?
*sigh* alright. Well, grab a seat and listen up.
Just love that fresh country air, don't ya? What? Oh, you want to know where I am. *steps out of the woodline* I've been watching you for the last few minutes as you read the above description. Got a good laugh from the look on your face though.
Hmm? HA! Betting you didn't expect to see an anthro nine-tailed fox, did ya?
*sigh* Well, I guess you can't see very well, so I'll explain myself in as much detail as I can.

Ah, yes, technology. Cellphones, computers, iPod's: you name it, I can puzzle out how to use it. This iPod *holds up with a tail* has been a blessing to me. Now I can carry all my music with me, wherever I go. Plus these earphones are great, even if they are just the regular ones *shrugs lightly*. Especially for songs like by the likes of Cascada, Skillet, Three Days Grace, Breaking Benjamin; I know what some of you are thinking, 'how can you listen to that crap?' Well you can just, as our British, New Zealand, and Aulstralian friends say, 'bugger the hell off.' Now for those who don't care, so long as you don't have to listen, I also have a fair bit of country, rock, and Celtic music as well.
Ah, now you want some personality, don't you? Well, here goes nothing. I'm only slightly outgoing, but if someone says 'hi', I will almost always respond if possible. As soon as it comes to yiff though, I'll let you know right now that I take things very slow; lots of teasing and the like. Oh, and I love to cuddle. Absolutely adore it. Playful matches are fun as well, *smiles and spits a small fireball at the ground* and as you can see, I have control over fire. *giggles and winks* and I just love heat. Just seems to make me melt sometimes *giggles again*
Now, for the reason some of you have come here, role playing. I am up for just about anything, although I am by no means an expert at RP. In the chat, don't be shy to hit me up, although my one request is mostly good grammer and decent posts that I can work with. Also, I'm kind of shy as well, so be prepared to move any RP forward if it seems like I'm stalling. One last thing for chat RP's, I have a "ten minute" rule; this means that if there is no reponse for ten minutes, I will *poke* you to make sure you're still there. Please do not take it personally ^.^
Now, if it's via PM, the messaging system here on SF, I think I'd like to keep those clean. Any story line, character set, things like that; I am much more flexable when it comes to those types of RP's ^.^
Not everything is cut and clean,
Not all emotions pleasing.
Many times, and many days
Our emotions play and tease;
More often they hurt and pain.
Each emotion and each pain,
In the end they all will drift away.
Blessed sleep, life's greatest escape.
Beautiful nights, with the beauty of the moon,
Covering the snow covered land;
With each passing cycle, we get a few hours reprieve.
Then, it begins again.
The burning sun rises, our eyes open.
Once again, our minds are forced into reality.
Once more, we are torn from peace of sleep.
But, what happens when our peace becomes a nightmare?
I toss, turn, whimper.
I cry out in the cold, grasping dark,
And no one seems to be there.
The hands of a few offer themselves,
And I reach for them.
In the end, they all are taken away from me.
Night after night, day by day
A new emotion rises;
More often, an old one rears its head.
Each day I f...
