Before I begin, I'd love to give a very well-deserved shout out to Alyx. Don't get me wrong, he's a terrific guy... but he has no idea how to properly emphasize important words in a sentence.
So, in my first rant installment- actually, on second thought, this isn't really a rant. It's more like a lecture. I'm in the mood to express a belief in as many little words as possible, so you'll have to bear with me or go read the TL;DR at the bottom.
