Here is another recipe that I like. It can be used by "less experienced" furs who want something besides fast food.
1 pkg potato soup mix (8 quart size) - I normally use Bear Creek Cheddar Potato that I get at Giant Eagle (http://www.bearcreekcountrykitchens.com/soups.php)
2 links sausage - I normally use Giant Eagle Market District Cajun Style Andouille Sausage, but anything you like from mild to wild will do
1-2 tbl vegetable oil (to brown sausage)
1 can baby potatoes or 1-2 regular potatoes
3 pcs Canadian-style bacon
1 pkg grated Cheddar cheese (or grate your own)
1 tsp parsley flakes
Salt and pepper to taste if desired
1. Heat skillet on medium high heat. Add oil when hot. Carefully add sausage. Brown, stirring frequently to get all sides browned. Drain off excess fat and oil Set aside sausage on paper towels to finish draining.
