Years ago I happened to read a book by Mark Laidlaw, for those not familiar Laidlaw is best known as the author and designer of video games (Half Life tells you something?).
Why speak here of Kalifornia? Why is the first novel I've ever read furry. In practice tells us that in the not so distant (were years that I wanted to write this sentence) men had created hybrid creatures to help them. The focus of the book is actually on the search for a kidnapped child, and the draft of a guru TV to dominate the world, and the elements are properly furry contour. But the beauty is just that. It is not a novel about the furry, but with the furry, including dogs, seals and non-defined creatures, furry elements blend with this dystopian world and make it part perfectly. One of the protagonists is a furry, a seal, but he himself did not make much of a problem, interaggendo with its human masters in a very natural way. Indeed, perhaps he, is one of the most human of the book.
I do not know how hard it ...
