Hello all. About 12 years ago, I took my mate Kitty to the animal shelter to let her get a kitten of her own. We saw cute kitties, as they all are and one little white fluffball with one blue eye and one green eye was all alone, standing with her back paws on the edge of her litter boc, front paws on the food bowl eating. She looked at us and was the only one who was interested in the people outside the glass. After meeting her in the get acqainted room, she came home with us to join our family. She played with our daughter and screamed bloody murder when my cat held her head down to keep her from attacking him in play. He was gentle but to frustrate her was an awful offence to the little kitten. Thru the years, we moved her to a new apartment, then half way across the country to our present home and provided us with love. Recently, she had trouble eating and was getting thin, so we took her to the vet. He found her tongue was hard and said it might be cancer but sent us with an antibiotic home and my mate hand fed her the meds as well as kitten formula and food. She gained a little weight but we could see a growth under her tongue and it bled. Today she was taken to the vet and put to sleep. I have gone thru this before but it is my mate's first ime and it has torn her up. Please think kind thoughts for our little Saleen, that she is happy now and at peace. We wish she had been able to be helped to live but this is all we could do for her. Rest peacefully little one. We will see you again, one day.
