RW - I Was in a Dream of Yours?

Title is a reference to the vision at the beginning of chapter 2 of the Raven Wolf comic. To tell you the truth I almost threw this sketch out, it wasn't turning out how I had planned, as originally she was going to be wearing clothes, but every time I tried to draw them on they didn't look good, and just made the image look bulky or odd. Also there was nothing rather exceptional about this drawing wise, you can't see the hands and feet, and every time it tried to find a way to add them the image just didn't look the same. Despite the lake of detail or artistic challenge I decided to finish it as is, I don't know why, usually I would keep working until I got it the way I wanted or just trash it, but something about this one made me decide to complete it like this without all those details. Everything about this image is as basic and as simple as can get, can't see the hands and feet, none of the detailed clothes this character usually wears, a single coloured fur colour with no patterns, and absolutely no background. Yet for some reason it turned out beautifully, I just can't explain it.

"Yet for some reason it turned out beautifully, I just can't explain it."

Oftentimes elegance of simplicity is all one needs to be beautiful.

I've been following raven wolf for some time, first time commenting on this. very interesting story and I LOVE your art style

P.S. "Despite the lake of detail..."

LACK of detail >:P

hmm, it's not a lack of detail.. but rather that there is nothing present which is unneeded.
There's a fine line between too much and too little detail. The mark on an artist is knowing which is which!
I think it's beautiful.

Thanks ^^ and to think I was going to just throw this out because there was nothing 'special' about it. Glad I went with my gut instinct to keep it

I think everyone above me said all that came to my mind, so I'll just say simply beautiful<3

I agree with all the previous comments. This turned out perfectly; anything else would have detracted from it.

She's very beautiful, really cute, and really sexy. I wish she was sitting on my bed like that. I would ask her to be my mate.
PS: I love your work. 5/5 & faved

The beauty is in the simplicity. Without the distraction of a background, our eyes are drawn to your beautiful rendition of that white wolf. Thumbs up on the good work.

I have to agree with what most have already stated, the brilliance is in the simplicity. You have managed to capture a stunning vision with nothing to detract from the beauty! Truly awe inspiring :) Keep up the wonderful work!
