Simple enough in concept, but without love of food, and skilled hands this dish will go from delicious to nauseating quickly.
Makes 2 quarts:
1 diced tomato with juices
24 oz tomato sauce
8 oz tomato paste
1/2 lbs meat of choice
1/4 clove of fresh crushed and chopped garlic
1 tbs Salt
2 tbs Black pepper
2 tbs Basil
2 tbs Oregano
1 tbs thyme
1 tbs sage
2 oz minced bell pepper
2 oz EVOO
Additional ingredient vary on taste.
NOTE: many allergies can be triggered by this dish due to the unpredictability of human taste and changes resulting there of.
1: Cook your meat of choice thoroughly.
2: Mix everything together in a 3-4 quart kettle and slow cook on WARM (this is important) for 8 hours MINIMUM!
3: Stir every hour on the hour. adding in small amounts of other seasonings as you see fit.
4: Over the course of the 8 hours you will need to add water to prevent burning. Add the water in increments of 4 oz at a time. anymore and the dish will go bad.
Cooking longer yields more potent and unique results.
