If one day scientists could create real life furries

What if scientists could create furries?

If one day, scientists had figured out a way to make furries real by creating a serum or a machine that could turn you into one, would you do it? I know I would. What are your thoughts?

They are easy enough to create now. But to change someone into a furry, the technology is a hundred years away.

To create one, I worked it out years ago, is quite simple. All you have to do is calculate the variation from one generation to the next the to achieve the desired form and them spend the next 50 years breeding them towards the goal. Technically you can achieve the goal within 5-7 years right now with the technique I developed provided you have 150 million bucks to spend. Invitro selection will allow the physical traits selected and embryonic egg cell extraction to allow rapid egg cell fertilization and develop the next generation within a month or two . I wrote it up here a year or two ago. No human DNA needs to be added maintaining purity of the blood line. Maybe a manipulation to introduce the double muscle mutation to strengthen the tendons for physical stability.

If you can change the DNA of an organism and make those changes manifest themselves physically through the humans body you can fix every DNA based problem on the planet and essentially achieve immortality. Think Blade Runner and the argument made by Tyrel and that altered cells become foreign to the body and are more likely to be attacked by the immune system. That's why I'd take a hundred years roughly if you're lucky due to all the problems that need to be solved. Immune response, Physical manifestation of the changes to DNA. It's a bigger problem to change someone than to create them out right.

Wow, I actually never thought of it like that, sucks that the technology is so far away though, the most we can do now is hope. :)

Only the technology to change someone into a furry. Creating pure blood highly evolved furries from say a canine species has been technically feasible since 2006. Anyone know a billionare furry lover? There's got to be one who'll want to spend 150 million for the full project.

Would I do it? Maybe, if the results are good and I could get a life extension.

I'd definitely go for this. I've always wanted to be an actual furry and I know several people who, once exposed, would jump at the chance for this. XD It can be done...we just need a common cause.
